Jerry and his mother provided me room and board in their sprawling home the first semester of my Senior Year. It was a sweet and kind thing of them to do. Though Jerry and I eventually lost touch as a consequence of divergent religious views, he was a genuinely giving person, and I hope his passing was a gentle one.
