Highline High School
Class Of 1958

Hi Classmates!

We are finally doing an update on our Home Page.  Sorry it has been so long in coming.    One thing we discovered is that the pictures from all past reunions, but the 55th, have disappeared from the site.  We are working to find a solution to get them back where they belong.

PARTICIPATION IS THE KEY ... if this is your 1st time here, JOIN THE WEB SITE. You can do so by clicking on CLASSMATE PROFILES.  Scroll until you find your name, click on it and upload your profile information and pictures (just follow the prompts).  After, check out the Lost Classmates list and tell us if you know the location of our missing Pirates; start/send a message in either the Message Forum or User Forum; take a look at the *In Memory* section.  Or if you have already filled out a  profile it probably is time for an update.

If you missed the 55th Reunion, you missed a great party.  We gathered at Basil's Restaurant at the Embassy Suites in Tukwila to enjoy a delicious three course dinner, ample liquid refreshments and wonderful Pirate comraderie.  It was a great success.  Since it was so much fun we want to do it again.  Please either send a message from this website or send an email to Martha at and tell us the following:

Will you come to the 60th Reunion?    Yes        No

Will you bring a significant other?        Yes       No

When should we have the reunion:  Spring 2018 or Fall 2018

There are pictures in the *Memory Lane Pictures* tab.  If you have any pictures you'd like to add from past reunions or our school days, please contact Martha Brock at

Several of you have asked for information from our graduation.  Following are a few fun facts:

Class Theme:  "Faith in Tomorrow!"

Class Motto:  "Tis not too late to Seek a Newer World"

Class Flower:  Gladiolus

Class Colors:  Coral and Gray

The words to Our Senior Class Song:

(To the tune:  "On the street where you live")

We have often walked down these halls before

But today our memories seen to linger more

All at once are we lost in reverie

Knowing now we must soon say goodbye

There are memories in the heart of me

All the teachers, games and friends that we so often see

In the coming fall we will miss you all--

And the things that are always dear

And, Oh the saddening feeling--just to know

   that our years are past

But then the brightening feeling -- just to know

How well our memories will last.

People stop to say -- we do wish you well

And there are none else on earth that we would rather tell

Of the things we've done, seems they've just begun

Now it's o'er and we'll be sailing on.

Several classmates have asked for the words to "Sailing on" and finally here they are!!!"

"Sailing On"

Sailing on! Sailing on!  O'er the sea of life

Sailing on! Sailing on!  Beginning worldly strife

Some go east, some go west, each his task to do

But we'll meet again to greet Highline friends so true.

Sailing on! Sailing on!  Our school days are past.

Sailing on! Sailing on!  We'll love you to the last.

Love you to the last.

And finally, please pass on the web site information to your 1958 friends by using the "Missing Classmates" email invite located on the bottom right-hand side of this page.  Make sure you also leave Martha or myself a message with their email address.
