Retired from Boeing after 37 years. Moved to NE Washington in 1999. I live on 25 acres with my dog and three cats. I volunteer for a local dog rescue group. I am a member of three car clubs: Galaxie Club of American, Intl., Outsiders of Colville Valley, and Chokes & Spokes of Kettle Falls.
I have a restored 1963 Galaxie 2-dr hardtop, and a 1934 Ford Pickup hotrod. I publish a monthly newsletter for the Outsiders.
School Story:

I worked all through high school so didn't have time for much else. I did enjoy the dances at the school and at Des Moines Fieldhouse.
I had a 1949 Ford coupe I drove to school. For several months the brake master cylinder was bad and finally went out completely. Just before inspection at school, I put fresh brake fluid in so I'd pass. I got pretty good using the clutch and emergency brake.

Happy Birthday Suzanne, and sending a wish for a wonderful year ahead. You probably don't remember or know me from Highline, but had to pass on wishes to you, it's once in a lifetime that we reach 80 years old. I had planned on attending a wedding in Austin, TX in March,but due to the health crisis, did not happen. Wishing you a happy birthday and a great year ahead. So many of our classmates are living in Arizona, and many from this small town where I live, go south for winter. Happy Birthday Neil. You probably don't remember me, after all i's been 70 years since Des Moines Elementary days. I live north and west of Spokane and don't miss the mess that's become the SeaTac area. I'm sure Bellingham is no different. Travelling is good for the soul.
