I did not pass away as was previously reported. Following 6 1/2 years in the Navy including a tour in Vietnam, I went back to school), ,got another degree and spent the next 46 years working in community colleges. Raised three sons with Katie Meany (class of 1959) and now sport seven grandchildren and Clara, my first great grandchild. My high school memories are fond, particularly the young ladies I grew attached to: Jean, Barbara, Marise, Rowena. We had fine times together. I played lots of basketball with Ralph, Tom, Pete Stiles (class of 1959), Rich Stanley (class of 1957). We had some very good teams. I ran for ASB president and got thumped by Terry. I thank Terry for his leadership of our class over the years (ably assisted by Martha). I’ll wish Ralph a happy birthday while I’m at it. I’ve spent much good time over the years with Dean Straley, one of my favorite people.
My health: I’m an orthopedists’ dream for all the work done on my joints.
I haven’t worked since 2015 and don’t plan to again. My mother, bless her soul, kept going to Highline reunions into her 80’s and told me about another grad hitting on her. She should be so lucky. Well, she was gorgeous her whole life.
At any rate, happy 2025 to you all. Carpe diem, if you can still move that walker.

"Bo"was an icon to the class of '58. Good teammate, leader and friend. We will meet again.
